SUNSCREEN:

Please send your child to camp fully sunscreened -- face and body. We will re-apply sunscreen using OUR OWN SUNSCREEN at appox. 10:30am and 12:30pm and 2:30pm (for aftercare). The sunscreen we use is Banana Boat Kids Sport (50+). We use the roll-on for the face and the spray for the body. If your child is allergic to Banana Boat and/or will use their own sunscreen please text Ms. Ciardella directly and let her know so that she can make a note. If your child does bring their own sunscreen, please send them with a STICK/ROLL-ON for the face and a SPRAY for the body.

*Please do not send your child with RUB-IN LOTION sunscreen.

Campers MUST wear closed toe athletic shoes/Crocs at all times! Campers who do not wear closed toe shoes will not be allowed to start camp until they have the appropriate footwear.  Please do your best to have your child's name on ALL of their removable clothing.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures:

Please drop your child no earlier than 8:25 am as we will be prepping for the camp day. To drop your child, please enter the long driveway at 477 Fremont Ave (Summer Blast) or 327 Fremont Ave (Winter/Spring Blast). Our counselors will be waiting to receive your children at the side gate -- please pull forward if you see a long line behind you. For pick up, please follow the same procedure of lining up in the driveway and following the queue around the admin building until you see the counselors near the main entrance (not AM side gate).  Counselors will be there to help load your child. If you have your Pinewood pick-up signs, please put them on your dashboard. *If you would like to walk-in and collect your child, please park on Fremont Ave. Please DO NOT park in the driveway and walk-in as this WILL cause a traffic jam and slow the dismissal. For Aftercare, please drive around to the main gate to collect your child. A dismissal line will start at 4:45. Should you arrive prior to 4:45, please pull around to the parking spots and walk in to collect your child. Please check your child out with Aftercare Director Caitlin Ciardella prior to leaving.

Camp Notes:

FUN SNACKS/TREATS: We will often have a Fun Snack or Treat (this can range from a few Gummiworms to an Ice Cream Party)... Should your child have dietary concerns, please pack an appropriate FUN SNACK for your child everyday so they feel included in the fun.

PIZZA PARTY: On FRIDAY, we will have our Pizza Party! Please provide your child with snacks and drinks, and Mr. Slayton will take care of the pizza:)

If you have any questions or concerns, please text me anytime. Let's have a BLAST!

Mr. Slayton
